The 13th Asia Pacific Bowls Championship was held at 8-16 August 2009 in the National Bowls Complex, Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The tournament was hosted by Malaysia Lawn Bowls Federation.
The Hong Kong team comprised of ten players, being Danny Ho, James Keung, Jerry Ng, Jimmy Chiu, Ken Chan, Camilla Leung, Elizabeth Cormack, Grace Chu, Peggy Ma and Winnie Wai, with team mangers Cyril Leung and Queenie Lai
Hong Kong won two bronze medals in Men’s Triples and Women’s Fours.
