The 8th Asian Lawn Bowls Championship and 6th Asian Under 25 Singles Championship were hosted by the Chinese Multi-Bowls Association. The tournaments were held from 2-9 December 2009 at Bijiashan Park, Shenzhen, China.
Hong Kong team comprised 14 players, two manger and a coach. For the open championship, the team was Luis Fernandes, C.S. Suen, Chadwick Chen, Stephen Chan, Bernard Leung, Peggy Ma, Celena Kwok, Mercredi Yeung, Connie Wong and Wanis Wan, with Warren Kwok and Jessie So as the managers. For the Under 25 champion, the team was Ken Chan, James Ho, Angel So and Pinky Chan with their coach Eric Chan.
The team won a Gold. two Silver and a Bronze medal.
