In addition to the league and national competitions, the Lawn Bowls Association of Hong Kong, China will organize an international tournament, the International Bowls Classic, annually to provide opportunities for local players to compete against top players from around the world.

Other events are also arranged on an ad-hoc basis, such as the China-Hong Kong-Macau tournament and some fundraising events.

Affiliate clubs also work with the Association to arrange special tournaments for the bowls community to mark special occasions.

China-HK-Macau Invitation 2009

The 2009 China-HK-Macau Invitation tournament was hosed by Chinese Multi-Bowls Association.  The tournament was held from 14-15 November 2009 at Bijiashan Park, Shenzhen, China. HKLBA team was represented by Wanis Sze, C.S. Suen, Luis Fernandes and Lee Ka Ho. They were the Champion out of 28 teams.
