To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Hong Kong re-unification to China sovernity, Hong Kong Lawn Bowls Association organized the 2nd China-HK-Macau Lawn Bowls Invitation tournament 2007. In addition to the league and national competitions, the Lawn Bowls Association of Hong Kong, China will organize an international tournament, the International Bowls Classic, annually to provide opportunities for local players to compete against top players from around the world.
Other events are also arranged on an ad-hoc basis, such as the China-Hong Kong-Macau tournament and some fundraising events.
Affiliate clubs also work with the Association to arrange special tournaments for the bowls community to mark special occasions.
