HKLBA received an enquiry about number of home/away games in Premier league fixture.
Below is the clarification from VP League:
In the formulation of Premier league fixture, the following factors are taken in high priority:
1. ensure one home game and one away game with same opponent in the each half season,
2. try to best utilize all the greens that are available,
3. keep the minimal number of games to be re-scheduled or re-arranged.
The home/away ratio in half season is not one of the considerations in Premier league.
This is different with Triples league where home/away ratio is the top priority consideration.
Hope it clarifies any unnecessary misunderstanding and confusion.
