Quenton IP won bronze at World Bowls Junior Indoor Championships

HKG player Quenton Ip won a bronze in the men’s singles at the World Bowls Junior Indoor Championship on December 7.

Ip finished top of his group in the roundrobin stage and defeated Alwyn Martignone from South Africa 7-1, 8-3 in the quarter-final and face Australian Kane Nelson in the semi-final. Ip won the first set 8:2 but lost the second set 7:2. In the last end of the tie-breaker, his shot was taken away by Nelson and can only settle for a bronze.
