The 11th world Bowls championship 2008 took place from 12-27 January 2008 at Christchurch, New Zealand for both men and women. Hong Kong team was represented by Ken Chan, Robin Chok, Heron Lau, K.K. The Hong Kong International Bowls Classic 2007 was held from 8-16 December 2007. Hong Kong was represented by Ken Chan and Noel Kennedy. Hong Kong beat Wales in the final and pinched the championship.
