The 9th Women’s World Bowls Championship was held under the control of International Women’s Bowling Board (IWBB). Australian Women’s Bowling Council was the host for the championship from 8th to 26th March 2000 in Moama. The Hong Kong China ladies’ team was represented by Anna Clarke, Danna Chiu, Angela Chau, Linda Da Luz and Lena Yeung. The team manager was Julie Chan.
